Demast Pty Ltd are an industry leader when it comes to liquid waste management. We are an EPA approved waste management facility, conveniently located in Smithfield. We offer an effective and efficient resource recovery management – thus reducing the amount of trucks going to landfill.
We pride ourselves in having an advanced wash plant that can dewater liquid waste quickly, safely and effectively. We have the ability to receive and process large amounts of liquid waste at our facility in Smithfield which is open 24/7 and 365 days of the year! We have 4 tipping bays and two automated weighbridges which will ensure your trucks have less down time and are not waiting for long at our facility.

Liquid waste disposal
- Drilling Mud – a mixture of naturally occurring rock and soil, including but not limited to materials such as sandstone, shale and clay, and drilling fluid generated during drilling operations such as horizontal directional drilling or potholing.
- NDD (Non-Destructive Digging) – Also known as hydro excavation is usually a mixture of ester, soils, rocks, clay and other natural materials.
- Stormwater – Stormwater contaminated with gross pollutants
- Concrete slurry – concrete washout and residual batch concrete from agitator trucks
- Street sweeper waste – waste received from street sweepers.
Liquid waste bins (Mud-bins)
- We offer mud bins for onsite tipping so vac trucks can continue working on site or even just for storage of material.
- We can deliver and remove bins within the same day with our three hook lift trucks.
- We also offer open bins for storage or removal of solid material.
Hook Lift Trucks
- Need a truck for a period of time? Demast offers trucks for dry hire, if available.
- Transport of bins to and from site.
- Transport of other materials to site (sandbags etc)
On site water treatment and waste solutions
- Demast are capable of building your very own water treatment plant on site. Full set-up and training will be provided. These are unique to each site so please contact us to arrange the next steps of this process.
Finished products
Demast strive to recycle as much material as possible coming through their plant. All liquid waste tipped at Demast will be processed with the aim of recycling it and making it into a finished product.
We have several products available as a result of our processing and all available for a great price. The recycled products can be bought in the form of:
- Sand
- 10mm aggregate
- 20mm aggregate
- 20+mm aggregate.
